SGUK Ltd is an American owned construction company from Baton Rouge with their English headquarters based in Derby. The core of our business is the manufacture and installation of pipes and pressure vessels for the Power, Chemical & Pharmaceutical industries.

Our first ever contract on Wilton is to construct and install wood burning furnace (weighing 200 tonnes) along with all the associated pipework and plant for the Biomass 10 Power Station project.

Work on this contract began in January 2006 and has employed some 200 local tradesmen, it will be completed early in 2007.

In January 2007 we will be starting our second contract on site, the construction of a large Polymer plant for Huntsman which will employ some 400 tradesmen, again many living in from the surrounding area, and will take 18 months to complete.

The nature of our work dictates that we move from place to place around the country and as we employ a large amount of local labour at each site it is always a pleasure to offer some support to local sporting facilities especially those associated with members of the workforce and their families
